  • •Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and develop related playbooks, templates, and escalation guidance.
  • •Develop scalable legal guidance, policies, templates, and AI-enabled workflows to support efficient decision-making.
  • •Own and maintain core platform agreements (e.g., provider Terms of Service, privacy notices, website terms) aligned with product, regulatory, and operational requirements.
  • •Lead day-to-day privacy and HIPAA counseling, including data mapping, privacy-request workflows, minimum-necessary practices, and partnership with Security on technical controls; collaborate with compliance on the healthcare compliance program.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of legal experience in commercial contracts and business counseling, with a J.D. and active U.S. state bar membership.
  • •Independently handle complex commercial matters and provide business counseling.
  • •Substantial experience with privacy and healthcare regulatory matters, including HIPAA/HITECH, data use/sharing, BAAs, and privacy requests or incidents.
  • •Draft, negotiate, and develop playbooks/templates and escalation guidance for commercial agreements.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication to translate complex legal concepts into strategic, actionable guidance.
