Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide subject matter technical support and leadership for multi-site/phase geotechnical design, due diligence, investigation, remediation, permitting, and construction.
  • •Collect, compile, and analyze geotechnical data from site work, samples, surveys, blueprints, GIS, subsurface utilities, and hydrologic/geologic datasets.
  • •Perform complex investigations and inspections and conduct analyses for subsurface conditions, settlement, soil erosion, lateral earth pressures, slope stability, and groundwater.
  • •Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, safety/phasing plans, and coordinate with owners, disciplines, and clients.
  • •Lead medium to large-scale geotechnical projects, overseeing budgets, tracking hours/expenses, and supervising subcontractors and employees.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or closely related discipline.
  • •5+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and geotechnical design.
  • •Professional Engineer license.
  • •Proficiency with geotechnical engineering principles and practices, including permitting and project-related issues.
  • •Experience planning, conducting inspections/investigations, and applying applicable regulations and policies.
