Job Summary

Design, implement, simulate, and test DCS/PLC control and graphics for power plant applications on Emerson’s Ovation platform. Work independently and with a team to prepare I/O database partitions from third-party systems, perform control and protection system engineering, and execute process simulation and testing. Participate in design review meetings and factory acceptance tests, including functional verification of I/O interfaces, installation oversight, commissioning, and start-up support.

•Verify and test I/O interfaces to field devices and supervise control system installation, commissioning, and start-up while ensuring safety and security compliance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in ECE, EEE, I&C, or E&I.
•2 to 10 years of experience in power plant process, project engineering, and commissioning.
•Process knowledge of HRSG, boiler, and BOP control systems.
•Control design, implementation, process sequencing, and protection philosophies for sub-critical/super-critical fossil-fired and combined cycle plants.
•Proficiency with ISA and SAMA logic symbols, P&IDs, and electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
