Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, implement, test, review, debug, and ship features by directing coding agents to execute across many files while you own the outcome.
  • •Run tests and iterate on agent output, treating it as untrusted until validated (catching hallucinations, missing validation, and security issues).
  • •Manage agent context effectively by keeping coding standards, CLAUDE.md, architecture notes, and module dependencies up to date.
  • •Build and maintain team-level tooling such as prompts, skills, sub-agents, and MCP integrations with guardrails and forbidden patterns.
  • •Use agents across the lifecycle—integration tests, coverage gap analysis, regression tests from incidents, root-cause analysis (logs/traces), ADRs, and runbooks.

Key Requirements

  • •Daily hands-on use of coding agents on real work, where you owned the result and the agent wrote most of the code.
  • •Experience taking at least one project end to end with agent workflows, including delegation, failures, and how you caught issues.
  • •Agentic experience with tool/function calling and multi-step workflows, including state, error recovery, and human-in-the-loop review.
  • •Strong engineering fundamentals (clean code, testing, error handling, security, performance) and the judgment to know when the agent is wrong.
  • •Ability to set up agents for success using project files, standards, examples, and scoped tasks (and explain your setup to teammates).
