Job Summary

Safely and efficiently support precast concrete production by moving metal forms and concrete products with heavy equipment. In addition to forklift operation, you’ll load and unload shipments, stage finished goods, organize inventory in the yard, and validate shipping documentation. You’ll also perform routine forklift maintenance and help strip, clean, and prepare concrete forms and steel molds as part of a manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities

•Load, stage, and yard finished goods both on the plant floor and in the outside yard.
•Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
•Safely load and unload product from flatbeds and box trailers and validate packing slips and ship tickets.
•Perform routine maintenance on the forklift.
•Strip and clean concrete forms and products; prepare steel molds for filling with concrete and perform basic carpentry tasks.

Key Requirements

•Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
•Must be able to pass internal forklift training program.
•At least one year of forklift experience moving weights of 20,000 lbs (preferred).
•Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
•Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day.
