Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop Day-Ahead and Real-Time submissions for PJM assets and submit retail DA bids in compliance with FERC, PJM, and internal policies.
  • •Schedule physical power trades and coordinate gas purchases and coal inventory with the fuels and sold fuel teams.
  • •Coordinate with Operations to develop and optimize outage and testing schedules for the PJM fleet and assist in directing RT dispatch team for real-time optimization.
  • •Act as an SME on PJM market rules and provide SME input to Regulatory on changes to PJM market rules; support Adapt2 market submissions systems development and maintenance.
  • •Provide input to cash month P&L and analyze for strategy adjustments, including input into DSO modeling, and direct analytical projects to maximize value of PJM assets.

Key Requirements

  • •2-5 years of experience in Commercial Asset Management, Trading, or Market Analytics.
  • •Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including building and using complex Excel-based models.
  • •Knowledgeable of power and fuel markets, with general understanding of power plant operations for coal and gas-fired plants.
  • •Strong analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated project management ability to guide and influence diverse project teams.
  • •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and deliver key deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
