Job Summary

Serve as a client-first, sales-driven Personal Banker on the branch team in Fairbanks, building new client relationships and deepening existing ones. Lead conversations in person and by phone to uncover financial wellness needs, recommend tailored solutions, and support account openings for consumers and small businesses. Ensure compliance with banking risk, security, and audit procedures, assist with teller transactions when needed, and participate in branch huddles and debriefs.

•Provide a strong client experience by engaging clients and teammates and delivering an impactful day-to-day service.
•Listen for financial wellness opportunities during in-person and phone conversations and deliver customized recommendations.
•Open personal and business accounts, including consumer checking, deposit products, home equity, unsecured lending, and certificates of deposit.
•Develop partnerships with branch teammates and line-of-business partners to drive client acquisition and deepen existing relationships.
•Ensure compliance with operational, risk, security, and audit procedures and support branch operations, including assisting on the teller line as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 20.67 - 31.25 hourly

Key Requirements

•1+ years of experience developing customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources; sales experience is more important than prior financial services experience.
•Understanding of consumer credit, including loan-to-value, debt-to-income, and credit reports.
•Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques such as tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking.
•Comfort interacting with small business clients, overcoming objections, and asking fact-finding questions.
•Working knowledge of PCs (MS Windows and Office, including Word and Excel) and digital technology (mobile, apps, and web-based browsing).
