  • •Provide strategic direction, technical expertise, and managerial guidance to ensure high-quality fire protection and life safety solutions across projects.
  • •Lead the development and execution of fire protection, smoke control and life safety strategies, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
  • •Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier fire protection and life safety talent, with regular performance feedback and goal setting.
  • •Lead fire protection and building code consulting efforts to ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes and regulations; stay current with evolving building codes.
  • •Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to review designs, calculations, and documentation to maintain high standards of care across a diverse project portfolio

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) license required (or timely ability to acquire); additional certifications (CFPS, PMP) advantageous
  • •15+ years of industry experience, with the last 5 years in a leadership or management role
  • •Proven leadership skills with ability to develop and inspire high-performing engineering teams
  • •Deep understanding of Building and Fire Codes, Standards and Regulations (IBC, NFPA, UFC, OBO, etc) and strong communication with clients and project teams
