Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end power aspects for NVIDIA’s products within the Power Architecture Group, including ASIC power analysis, power architecture, low power design, and UPF methodologies.
  • •Contribute to power analysis by architecting, developing, verifying, and correlating power estimation models/tools.
  • •Design system-level power features that optimize dynamic and leakage power dissipation across different use cases.
  • •Perform power verification (structural, functional, and power-aware), including test plans, testcases, and verification convergence across RTL, gates, and silicon.
  • •Validate power feature effectiveness on silicon and contribute to performance/Watt improvement ideas and power management solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •B.Tech./M.Tech with 1+ years of experience in power areas such as power analysis, power design, power-aware verification, UPF methodologies, and power correlation.
  • •Strong fundamentals in power, including transistor-level leakage/dynamic characteristics of VLSI circuits.
  • •Strong fundamentals in digital design and Verilog.
  • •Familiarity with low power design techniques such as multi-VT, clock gating, power gating, voltage islands, and DVFS.
  • •Knowledge of power intent formats (UPF/CPF or similar) and experience with static/dynamic power verification tools (e.g., VCLP/CLP, VCS-NLP).
