Job Summary

Join the Water team to lead process design for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You’ll develop deliverables such as hydraulic assessments, PFDs and P&IDs, mass/energy balances, capacity assessments, and safety documentation (LoPA, HAZOP/HAZID). Work across all design stages in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, support bids, and deliver quality outputs within budget and timelines while using tools like BIM and Projectwise.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and manage process design for wastewater and water infrastructure projects, including site surveys, hydraulic assessments, capacity assessments, and process equipment design.
•Produce key engineering deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, mass/energy balances, headloss calculations, and pumping system analysis.
•Prepare safety and compliance documents, including Hazardous Area Classification and LoPA, and participate in HAZOP/HAZID safety reviews.
•Support all project design stages (Feasibility through Construction Design) in line with national and international design standards, coordinating with other discipline teams.
•Contribute to bids and deliver quality client calculations, drawings, and technical reports within agreed budgets and timelines.

Key Requirements

•BEng or MEng in a related engineering field with experience in water and wastewater treatment.
•Chartered (or near Chartered) member of a relevant professional institution.
