Job Summary

Lead bridge inspection projects for WSP’s Mountain/Pacific Northwest Region Bridge Inspection Group, based in Denver with flexibility to work from offices in nearby states. Drive business development for inspection and load-rating work, support contract negotiations and client presentations, and represent WSP with federal, state, local agencies, and clients while ensuring NBIS/NTIS-compliant inspections and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide proactive, strategic leadership for bridge inspection discipline and ensure project deliverables are achieved.
•Lead complex bridge inspection projects, including budgets, tracking hours/expenses, and supervising subcontractors, contract work, and employees.
•Pursue and develop bridge inspection business in the Mountain/Pacific Northwest Region, including contract negotiations, presentations, and meetings.
•Perform and lead structural inspections and ensure reporting follows NBIS/NTIS standards and client guidance.
•Mentor staff and provide performance guidance, including planning and managing projects in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

Salary: USD 120,000 - 187,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
•Professional Engineering Licensure.
•10+ years of bridge inspection experience (NBIS) with transportation clients.
•NBIS Certified Bridge Inspection Team Leader with up-to-date certifications.
•Ability to perform continuous field work, including working at heights, in adverse weather, and in close quarters.
