Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow standard operating instructions across all operator areas, including flushing procedures and record keeping.
  • •Operate equipment and tools in all areas (including computer, grinders, forklift) and regulate material flow to meet product specifications.
  • •Prepare and maintain shift and production-related reports (shift activity, production, sampling, bag dump, reconciliations).
  • •Perform daily feed, bulk, and micro-ingredient inventory; fill micro-ingredient and tote system needs and maintain batching/receiving stock.
  • •Ensure safety and compliance with ISO22000 Feed Safety and Quality Program, environmental laws and procedures, and company IPS/EMS policies; report environmental issues and follow emergency notification process.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 17.75 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • •Ability to read and understand safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • •Ability to recognize critical areas of the mill control feed/ingredient system.
  • •Ability to read and speak English; basic computer skills desired.
  • •Must be able to work ~50 hour weeks, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and tolerate extreme seasonal temperatures and grain dust/chemical odors.
