Job Summary

Design and architect scalable, high-performing applications and infrastructure for enterprise customers using the MongoDB data platform. Partner with sales to drive account success through technical discovery, demos, proof of value, and solution sizing/documentation, while articulating MongoDB’s value to stakeholders. Generate technical demand in the territory, foster customer relationships and champions, and continuously improve solutions by feeding field learnings back to the product team.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and architect scalable, performant applications, systems, and infrastructure for large software projects leveraging MongoDB.
•Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies for MongoDB while communicating business value to stakeholders.
•Collaborate with the sales team to drive account success, owning technical discovery, demos, proof of value, presentations, sizing, and documentation.
•Proactively generate demand within the sales territory through technical initiatives, events, and account-based marketing.
•Foster strong customer relationships, build champions, ensure customer success, and mentor other Solutions Consulting team members.

Key Requirements

•5 to 8 years of related industry experience, ideally including 2 years in a customer-facing role.
•Minimum 2 years’ experience with scripting/programming languages such as Python, Node.js, SQL, and/or C/C++, Java, or C# in a professional capacity.
•Experience implementing scalable, highly available distributed systems across cloud and on-prem environments.
•Ability to review complex application architectures with customers and recommend improvements leveraging technology.
•A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience), plus professional proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
