•Monitor operations to ensure machines and processes are working properly and adjust controls to maintain temperatures and heating times.
•Remove parts from furnaces after specified times and air dry or cool parts in water, oil, brine, or other baths.
•Test parts for hardness and repair, replace, and maintain equipment using hand tools.
