Job Summary

Lead the VWR Brand (private label) Equipment & Instruments portfolio across Europe, owning the full product lifecycle from concept through commercialization and phaseout. Use market insight, customer needs, and data-driven decisions to set and execute portfolio strategy, drive growth and market penetration, and manage product lifecycle activities. Partner with commercial, marketing, sourcing, operations, e-commerce, and regulatory teams to deliver differentiated value and strong financial results.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute VWR portfolio strategy to take market share, including penetration of existing products, new product introductions, supplier acquisition, product line expansion, and market expansion.
•Establish, track, and report financial and operational metrics for the assigned VWR Brand portfolio, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement using Avantor Business System tools.
•Develop strategic marketing programs for the VWR Brand portfolio, providing forward views on trends and emerging technologies and end-customer segment developments.
•Manage the product life cycle for the portfolio, including supplier onboarding, product additions and enrichment, sales training and support, price maintenance, and lifecycle management.
•Drive collaboration and improve profitability by developing and executing strategies, and make senior-management presentations on markets, competition, and customer segmentation.

Key Requirements

•Intermediate experience required.
•Bachelor’s degree required.
•Master’s degree in business or equivalent experience preferred.
•Minimum three years of experience in strategic marketing, product management, category management, sales, or related experience.
•Safety certifications preferred but not required (ASP, CSP, or others).
