Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide hardware procurement trend and variance analysis using supply chain analytics to support annual vendor negotiations.
  • •Perform end-to-end hardware cost modeling and benchmarking across categories; analyze material consumption and processing costs and propose aligned standards.
  • •Measure hardware product complexity for suppliers and derive supplier performance evaluation targets.
  • •Partner with product development and materials sourcing to evaluate supplier quotations, validate costing assumptions, and support fact-based negotiation strategies.
  • •Maintain and enhance costing databases and reporting dashboards, ensuring data integrity, timeliness, and alignment with global costing standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Build, validate, and interpret detailed bottom-up cost models for hardware components.
  • •Use advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and ERP systems to extract, clean, analyze, and present supply chain data.
  • •Understand manufacturing processes, BOM structures, and supply base dynamics.
  • •Break down complex cost structures into actionable drivers; identify root causes of variances and propose solutions.
  • •Communicate technical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders via dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries.
