Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate the end-to-end testing strategy for centralized AEMS systems, gathering testing requirements and mapping scenarios for execution.
  • •Own testing across the lifecycle, from Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • •Verify system performance under expected workloads and conduct reliability, failover, and integration testing with real-time systems including PowerOn and Eterra.
  • •Work with cross-functional engineering and operational teams to identify and resolve issues, document findings, and communicate recommendations.
  • •Maintain accurate configuration records across development and UAT environments, ensure test infrastructure availability, and support knowledge exchange to junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with electricity transmission networks and control systems, including testing across IED, SCADA, server, and network infrastructure.
  • •Familiarity with industry standards such as IEC104, Modbus/TCP, IEC 61850, and IEEE standards.
  • •Ability to create detailed technical test specifications and documentation, including gathering and documenting testing environments.
  • •Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools, communication protocols, and network technologies, with an understanding of OT security practices.
  • •HND or degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline; experience with IED test equipment such as Omicron would be beneficial.
