Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and schedule outbound loads and coordinate with sales and production.
  • •Determine proper loading order and product placement.
  • •Verify shipping documents and record any discrepancies.
  • •Set up loads to be shipped by common carriers and coordinate routing and dispatch with delivery instructions.
  • •Ensure paperwork meets UFP procedures and DOT regulations; document shortages, trace/expedite orders, and maintain shipment records.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum high school diploma/GED.
  • •At least 6 months of experience in shipping and receiving or a related area.
  • •Working knowledge of DOT concepts, regulations, practices, and procedures.
  • •Working knowledge of proper loading techniques, weight limitations, and company procedures.
  • •Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook; successful completion of forklift driver licensing process.
