Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure OHSE policy adherence and drive improvements for safe operations on site.
  • •Provide daily technical support to production areas with a focus on waste and quality.
  • •Lead capital expense projects, including opportunity identification, TRACE submission, and project management through start-up.
  • •Support maintenance and production teams, including contractor control to ensure safe working procedures and adherence to Amcor policies.
  • •Sustainably embed the Amcor Flexibles Production System (AFPS) with KPIs, standards, and best practices; set improvement targets and report savings associated with waste and cost removal.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a science, technology, or engineering subject required.
  • •5+ years manufacturing, engineering, and process efforts.
  • •5+ years participation in process improvement / manufacturing engineering.
  • •Experience managing large capital expense projects and engineering change control.
  • •Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering areas including plant layout, waste elimination, continuous improvement, PFMEA, SPC, process capability, and value stream mapping.
