Job Summary

Own the development and delivery of acoustic and vibration performance across product development cycles. Define acoustics requirements and validation strategies, then build experimental and simulation-based approaches (including FEA/CFD/system modelling). Diagnose and resolve issues using signal analysis and transfer path techniques, manage technical risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Communicate insights via technical reviews and help drive continuous improvement while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Own acoustic and vibration performance development and delivery throughout product development.
•Define, capture, and manage acoustics requirements and validation strategies.
•Develop and implement experimental and/or simulation-based approaches (experimental testing, FEA/CFD/system modelling).
•Diagnose and resolve acoustic and vibration issues using signal analysis and acoustic/vibration techniques.
•Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate solutions, communicate findings, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics engineering or similar.
•Proven experience in product development with strong analytical focus.
•Solid understanding of mechanical systems and failure analysis.
•Experience in signal processing and vibration analysis (FFT, FRF, spectrogram, waterfall, etc).
•Experience in acoustics techniques such as TPA, ODS, noise localisation, or psychoacoustics is highly desirable.
