Job Summary

Develop and maintain PLC-based automation solutions for the CrisBag baggage handling system, contributing to a world‑wide airport automation product. You’ll implement PLC modules, simulate and test code at a dedicated test centre, review layouts early, and document solutions, working with Siemens TIA in a mid‑senior engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

•Developing PLC code for modules and elements ensuring the best solutions.
•Commissioning your PLC code virtually, as well as testing it at our test centre.
•Reviewing layouts and solutions early in the process to ensure that we use our standard product offerings.
•Participating in the documentation of our solutions.
•Contributing to the development and maintenance of product code to ensure high system performance.

Key Requirements

•Experience with Siemens TIA, STL and SCL.
•Knowledge of object‑oriented programming in industrial environments.
•Understanding of hardware integration, I/O nodes, drives, Profinet, and Ethernet communication.
•Experience with PLC development and testing, including commissioning PLC code virtually and at a test centre.
•Ability to work in a structured, collaborative team environment and solve technical challenges.
