Key Responsibilities

  • •Travel to customer sites to support installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, troubleshooting, and rebuilding of Sundyne API and non-API equipment per OEM and API specifications.
  • •Supervise customer craft personnel onsite to ensure safe, accurate completion to technical standards.
  • •Prepare service reports and complete customer and OEM documentation, including time sheets and travel/expense reports.
  • •Provide technical expertise on centrifugal pumps, compressors, controls, instrumentation, and rotating-equipment failure modes; analyze conditions to identify failure modes and confirm OEM requirements.
  • •Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA), troubleshoot using control-system logic, manage service cases in Microsoft CRM, and perform warranty evaluations.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with PLCs, rotating equipment, or mechanical systems.
  • •Knowledge of process-control equipment and ability to read P&ID drawings to troubleshoot field issues.
  • •Ability to read mechanical drawings and use GD&T to confirm parts meet OEM specifications.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills for customer-facing, professional communication and independent operation in the field.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering with at least five years of field experience (or equivalent technical degree/experience).
