Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate, maintain, and ensure safety compliance of beverage end/tab and food can making equipment and test equipment in the lab and high bay.
  • •Manufacture beverage end/tabs and food cans as needed for coating evaluation.
  • •Provide technical guidance and training to plant engineers, sales representatives, technicians, CPQA, and customers.
  • •Support sales technical problem-solving by assessing customer field issues.
  • •Use SEM analysis along with traditional problem-solving tools to address coated product customer field issues and assist CPQA with problem-solving at customer locations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or 15+ years of related experience in a similar field.
  • •5+ years of experience with tool and die, die-set assembly, stamping press operation, metal forming, press maintenance, and GD&T.
  • •Expertise in beverage end, beverage tab, and food can forming processes.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • •Demonstrated leadership, strong written/reporting and oral communication, and the ability to execute tasks independently.
