Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive work assignments and obtain required materials, equipment, drawings, and test documents.
  • •Fabricate wire and fiber-optic bundles and prepare sensing equipment for data collection and storage during tests.
  • •Set up and perform qualification, bench, or automatic tests according to work assignments, test documents, and equipment manuals.
  • •Install fiber optic strain gages and thermocouples (and other sensors) by soldering, bonding, spot welding, or mechanical fastening, including safe access with scissor/boom lifts.
  • •Maintain tie-ins and work logs, verify work against drawings/instructions, and support inspection and troubleshooting while handling hazardous materials per SDS.
