Job Summary

Responsible for sampling asphalt product to ensure required tests and quality control specifications are met. Coordinate daily/weekly scheduling with management, plant personnel, crewmembers, and Department of Transportation inspectors to obtain necessary samples and mix designs. Support daily production schedules, prepare and submit quality control documentation, and follow company ethical and safety standards including OSHA guidelines. May require night/weekend work and occasional out-of-town assignments.

Key Responsibilities

•Sample asphalt product to ensure it meets required tests.
•Coordinate daily/weekly scheduling with management, plant personnel, crewmembers, and Department of Transportation inspectors for samples and mix designs.
•Partner with staff reporting to the Quality Control Manager to ensure quality control specifications and daily production schedules/estimates are met.
•Read print-outs in the reader box and prepare and submit proper documentation to Quality Control personnel.
•Adhere to PPE requirements and company ethical and safety standards, including OSHA guidelines, while maintaining courteous professional conduct.
