Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn Extreme Networks products, routing & switching protocols, and lab operations.
  • •Set up networking equipment for Technical Support Engineers to use for customer support.
  • •Partner with TSEs to replicate customers’ network issues (software, hardware, configuration).
  • •Assist with lab operations (racking, cabling, troubleshooting, managing equipment).
  • •Prepare to become a Technical Support Engineer, Network Engineer, or a related position.

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a computer or networking related field; likely enrolled as a student
  • •Basic networking knowledge including Ethernet, TCP/IP, OSI model, routing and switching
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly
