Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage multi-disciplined engineering and project delivery teams, including a hybrid blend of in-person and remote members.
  • •Develop project and engineering work plans, budgets, and schedules for studies and design through construction support.
  • •Monitor and manage project cost, schedule, and quality performance, taking corrective action as needed.
  • •Manage contractual obligations and proactively lead scope and change management according to company and project requirements.
  • •Supervise deliverables and project control functions, lead project meetings, and mentor/training initiatives for team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ relevant industry experience, or a Technical Diploma and 10+ years’ relevant industry experience (ideally with an engineering firm).
  • •Demonstrated experience pursuing and winning opportunities in Canada with a strong reputation in the Canadian mining market.
  • •Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • •20+ years of progressive experience in the mining field, emphasizing materials handling, mine waste management, mining infrastructure, and project execution in Canada.
  • •Project Management responsibility for at least three prefeasibility or feasibility studies with capital value $100M+.
