Job Summary

Operate safely to transport and unload materials, ensuring products are handled on time and in compliance with Tyson policies. Use handheld scanning to pick and scan items, move inventory across freezer/cooler/dry areas, deliver raw materials and pallets to production, and transfer finished goods and work-in-progress to shipping. Operate powered pallet jack, forklift, and/or reach truck, maintain equipment/batteries, record movements in SAP, and follow 5S, GMPs, and USDA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate in a safe manner and follow company policies and procedures.
•Use a handheld computer to pick and scan product.
•Operate powered pallet jack, forklift, and/or reach truck, including daily inspections and battery maintenance/changes.
•Deliver raw materials, packaging, and pallets to production areas; move inventory and transfer finished goods/WIP to shipping.
•Record movement transactions in SAP, ensure correct labeling, and maintain an organized, clean workspace per 5S, GMPs, and USDA regulations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 17.8 hourly

Key Requirements

•6 months continuous work history with a single employer in the past 12 months and 6 months of forklift experience within the last 12 months.
•Lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
•Stand for long periods and wear steel/composite toe boots that meet site requirements.
•Work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
•Be able to work in a cold environment (-10 degrees below zero to 40 degrees F).
