Key Responsibilities

  • •Own unit economics by building and maintaining cost-to-serve, gross margin, and contribution models by product, customer, and workload from source data.
  • •Own budgeting for technology: cloud and GPU/TPU spend attribution, vendor and capacity forecasting, and planning models.
  • •Build and run finance dashboarding as a trusted single source of truth for burn, runway, margin, and company KPIs.
  • •Automate budget-vs-actuals with live department views and overspend alerts to enforce targets without manual chasing.
  • •Build revenue ops systems: deal desk framework (pricing/discount guardrails, quote/order-form generation, deal routing) and automated sales compensation from CRM and billing data.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Strong data engineering fundamentals, including SQL, Python, warehouse modeling, and orchestration (dbt, Airflow, or equivalent).
  • •Experience with financial or operational data (revenue, cost, billing, payroll, or cloud spend) and the fluency to model revenue, cost, and margin.
  • •Track record building internal tools, dashboards, or automations that non-engineers rely on daily.
  • •Familiarity with LLM-based agent workflows and comfort applying them to operational processes.
  • •Strong communication skills to explain what metrics mean (and don’t) to finance and engineering leaders.
