Key Responsibilities

•Partner with Account Executives across the full sales cycle, bringing in-house credibility and knowledge to discovery, demos, and commercial conversations with legal leadership and team members.
•Lead tailored product demonstrations for in-house legal teams — grounding every demo in the operational realities of inhouse legal work.
•Conduct in-depth discovery to understand how each legal department is structured, how work flows, where inefficiencies lie, and where Wordsmith can deliver impact across contract management, regulatory compliance, and matter management.
•Hands-on support during pilots or evaluation periods, helping connect specific business needs with developing technology.
•Translate the value of AI into language that resonates with in-house stakeholders: reduced cycle times, cost efficiency, risk reduction, and freeing lawyers to focus on business priorities.

Key Requirements

•Qualified lawyer with in-house experience and credibility across the commercial cycle.
•Strong understanding of how in-house legal departments are structured and how decisions are made, from GC to legal ops.
•Ability to engage credibly with legal leadership, legal ops, procurement, and business clients.
•Executive presence and communication skills, comfortable presenting to GCs and CFOs.
•Ability to translate across disciplines—bridging legal, commercial, technical, and operational conversations and showing curiosity about AI.
