Job Summary

Operate a variety of construction equipment safely and efficiently, including loaders, backhoe/track excavators, haul trucks, and water trucks. Maintain a clean, orderly jobsite and equipment interior, ensure safe excavation slopes and proper barricading, and locate utilities before digging. Perform minor servicing and maintenance, keep time and material records, and assist with physical tasks (e.g., laying pipe/utilities, road construction, asphalt) as directed.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate construction equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., loaders, backhoe, track excavators, haul trucks, water trucks).
•Keep equipment clean and free of debris and maintain a clean, orderly jobsite.
•Ensure safe excavation slopes and proper barricading.
•Locate utilities and buried lines prior to digging.
•Perform minor servicing/maintenance or refer major issues; keep time and material records; assist as needed with pipe/utility, road construction, and asphalt tasks.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•Previous heavy equipment operation experience or training is highly preferred.

•Ability to work well with others in a group or one-on-one setting.
