Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Cisco development engineers, commodity teams, and suppliers to create innovative PCB solutions.
  • •Contribute to PCB commodity strategy and participate in supplier selection, assessment, and qualification.
  • •Lead PCB failure analysis and drive containment, corrective actions, and risk assessment.
  • •Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • •Work cross-functionally and communicate complex technical concepts, solutions, and recommendations effectively.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s-level Engineering/Chemistry/Materials degree (or equivalent).
  • •15+ years of PCB manufacturing experience.
  • •Direct experience with SLP (substrate like PCB), advanced-HDI PCB, and mSAP (modified semi-additive process) design specifications, qualification, fabrication, and testing.
  • •Strong failure analysis capability using methods such as FMEA, 8D/corrective action, Fishbone IFD, cause-and-effect analysis, DOE, and risk assessment.
  • •Experience managing supplier relationships and driving corrective actions with rigorous quality control to maintain product standards and reliability.
