Key Responsibilities

  • •Under close supervision, complete technical assignments involving construction and maintenance of natural gas pipeline systems, including material selection, procedure development, code compliance, and inspections.
  • •Evaluate leakage survey effectiveness.
  • •Assist in design, monitoring, and analysis of pipeline systems including regulation, measurement, curtailment, and loss or gain of natural gas.
  • •Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rules and regulations, including design of mains, regulator and meter settings, and corrosion control.
  • •Conduct field investigations to acquire right of way, permits, and route evaluation, and assist in coordination between Engineering and Operations to complete projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • •Valid driver's license.
  • •Ability to communicate technical concepts with internal and/or external customers.
  • •Ability to perform algebraic, trigonometric, and geometric operations and moderately complex statistical/accounting methods.
  • •Advanced knowledge of various software applications to create complex documents, reports, and graphics.
