Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage accounting for the German and Swiss branches in accordance with the company’s Code of Practice.
  • •Implement and maintain internal control procedures for finance-related matters within the German and Swiss branches.
  • •Prepare the monthly profit and loss statement and balance sheet, and track monthly results with department heads.
  • •Determine and monitor cash flow, including bank-account reconciliations, and ensure surpluses are handled per company policies.
  • •Ensure correct and timely processing of monthly payroll in Germany and Switzerland, review expense claims for policy compliance and VAT/tax requirements, and provide information requested by tax advisors.

Key Requirements

  • •Confident written and spoken communication in German and English.
  • •Experience with multi-currency systems.
  • •Qualification as a certified accountant or similar qualification.
  • •Experience using AI-supported features in ERP or finance platforms such as Workday or Microsoft Copilot.
  • •Interest in using AI and automation to increase efficiency, reduce manual work steps, and improve reporting accuracy.
