Support crews when paving roads and highways by distributing asphalt using rakes and shovels, finishing asphalt joints, and leveling/adjusting surfaces for proper grade before compaction. Load and unload tools and equipment, deliver materials across job sites, and assist with equipment maintenance and cleaning as needed. Follow company policies and OSHA safety procedures while maintaining strict safety adherence and being available to work on multiple nearby construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

•Distribute asphaltic material by raking and shoveling.
•Match and finish freshly made asphalt joints evenly.
•Level and adjust surface irregularities; spread asphalt to proper grade and finish before compaction.
•Move and deliver tools, equipment, and materials throughout the job site.
•Load and unload from work trucks and clean tools and equipment; may operate equipment and assist with maintenance and cleaning.

Key Requirements

•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. regularly.
