Job Summary

Support the Chef de Cuisine in leading day-to-day culinary operations for a busy international kitchen. Help with menu planning, recipe development, stock management, and cost control, while driving operational efficiency and consistent, high-quality presentation of a wide range of international cuisines for guests worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the Chef de Cuisine in leading day-to-day culinary operations for a busy, diverse kitchen.

•Oversee kitchen operations during service and supervise/mentor the culinary team.
•Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and brand standards.
•Assist with menu planning, recipe development, stock management, and cost control to drive culinary excellence and efficiency.

Key Requirements

•Experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-volume international dining operation.
•Strong foundation in international cuisine with the ability to execute multiple culinary styles while maintaining consistency and quality.
•Hands-on leadership experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
•Ability to supervise and mentor a multicultural culinary team.
•Knowledge of food cost management, menu engineering, and HACCP principles.
