Job Summary

Mid-/senior-level backend engineer to build Ostium’s Entity Service and a low-latency pricing system. You’ll design centralized pricing across assets, collaborate with quants, infra, and data teams, and ensure robust, AI-enabled development with careful validation. Focus areas include assets/configuration, pricing accuracy, and scalable APIs, all to drive transparent, real-time equity, forex, and crypto trading.

Key Responsibilities

•Build out the Entity Service — a central configuration plane for assets, providers, model parameters, and more.
•Develop a low-latency, highly reliable pricing system and integrate it across the system.
•Collaborate with quants, infra, data, and backend engineers to implement a centralized pricing plane for real dollar value.
•Ensure robust design, governance, and validation of AI components used in pricing and configuration.
•Lead or contribute to scalable backend services and APIs to support rapid, transparent trading.

Key Requirements

•Strong Golang engineer with AI effectively in the development process.
•Deep expertise with schema design, evolution, and iteration.
•Financial knowledge, experience with trading systems, and understanding of financial concepts.
•Experience with Postgres, NATs, Red Panda, GRPC, APIs, WebSocket, and other core modern services.
•Strongly leverages AI in the development process, but with extreme care and validation criteria.
