Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete assignments of moderate to high complexity within delegated authority.
  • •Provide technical underwriting support and guidance to customers and distributors, delivering excellent customer service.
  • •Maintain internal and external distributor relationships by ensuring correct evidence, sound decisions, and clear explanations of rating decisions.
  • •Handle queries and referrals within authority limits, measuring exposure and analyzing risk to maintain underwriting standards.
  • •Contribute to development and improvement of technical underwriting standards, controls, practices, and procedures to meet business goals.

Key Requirements

  • •Underwriting experience in life insurance or related field within delegated authority levels
  • •Ability to provide technical underwriting support and guidance to customers and distributors
  • •Strong relationship management with internal and external distributors
  • •Experience handling queries and referrals within authority limits and analyzing risk per case
