Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide oversight for collecting, compiling, and analyzing site and subsurface data to support project development, design, and construction.
  • •Perform professional geotechnical/geological engineering work, including investigations and inspections, settlement analysis, erosion controls, slope stability, and conformance to permits, rules, and standards.
  • •Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, safety and phasing plans, and coordinate layout planning with owners, other disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients.
  • •Lead larger-scale geotechnical/geological projects, ensuring contributors meet requirements and timelines, managing budgets, tracking hours/expenses, and supervising subcontractors, contract work, and employees.
  • •Conduct engineering review for permit applications and design documents, support construction inspections, and present technical reports/recommendations to address issues and opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • •10+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and geotechnical design.
  • •Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Highly proficient in geotechnical engineering principles, practices, analysis/design, and application to permitting and project work issues.
  • •Proficiency with technical writing and geotechnical design software and tools (including advanced computations, calculations, and critical document reviews).
