Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
  • •Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
  • •Develop and make available informational financial materials for service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
  • •Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication (web-based chat, video conferencing) for PFC services as authorized.
  • •Manage duty to warn situations according to DoD protocol.
  • •Communicate with leadership and participate in regular supervision, sharing trends and issues from installations.
  • •Participate in in-services, training, quality improvement, and other contract activities as assigned.
  • •Perform all other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; or an associate degree plus 4 years of experience in lieu of bachelor's
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English
  • •If required by contract, bilingual in English and Spanish
  • •Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification (or equivalent)
