Key Responsibilities

  • •Contact defaulted customers using manual dialing to offer workout alternatives and obtain payment commitments.
  • •Analyze customer circumstances and collateral risk to present loss mitigation options such as forbearance, repayment plans, modifications, pre-foreclosure/short sales, and deed in lieu.
  • •Review, negotiate, and recommend actions on requests for foreclosure or repossession alternatives within management timeframes.
  • •Identify, evaluate, and resolve reasons for delinquency, ensuring documentation is requested and received.
  • •Record collection efforts, monitor compliance for designated accounts, escalate complex cases appropriately, and provide administrative support as directed.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • •Minimum two years of collection, support, or related customer service experience (Loss Mitigation experience preferred).
  • •Knowledge of basic mortgage default timelines and procedures (bankruptcy/escrow/foreclosure).
  • •Required to know and adhere to FDCPA, Privacy Act, and state laws plus applicable bank collection policies.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Access, and Excel (minimum intermediate level).
