Key Responsibilities

  • •Verify accurate accountability, storage, and tracking of Army assets using AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1, and technical manuals.
  • •Monitor transportation quality, including shipment planning, convoy preparation, load security, and regulatory compliance.
  • •Conduct QC inspections and audits, record and report findings, and submit corrective action requests with tracked resolutions.
  • •Validate data entries in Army logistics systems (e.g., GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP) for correctness and timeliness.
  • •Maintain QC records and provide weekly/monthly QC performance summaries; support external inspections and provide coaching on QC processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree in Logistics, Quality, Business Administration, or related field (bachelor’s preferred), or equivalent military experience.
  • •3–5 years of quality control, logistics, or Army transportation/supply experience.
  • •Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management principles and Army property accountability regulations (AR 710-2, AR 735-5).
  • •Familiarity with Army transportation regulations and the Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR).
  • •Must have REAL ID and be able to obtain/maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Tier1/NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
