Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess patients, take medical histories, diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses, and document findings.
  • •Design and execute the patient’s plan of care, including ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • •Prescribe medications and order/review the results of patients’ investigations.
  • •Educate patients and families on health conditions, investigations, treatment options, medication use, and preventive care (diet and hygiene).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from recognized universities.
  • •Master’s degree in a related specialty from recognized universities, or Fellowship with SCFHS approval.
  • •2 years of clinical experience following the Master’s degree, or eligibility to sit the board examination in the specialty.
  • •Licensed as Registrar in the related specialty from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  • •Fluent speaking and writing in English and Arabic.
