Job Summary

Support store operations by handling and storing raw materials, packaging, and manufactured products in compliance with Australian DG codes. Work with the Stores Supervisor to pick orders, assist in packing, loading/unloading, and maintain safety and hygiene in a busy warehouse while participating in stock counts and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Adhere to safe work policies, procedures and processes to maintain a safe working environment, hygiene standards, and use of PPE
•Liaise with the Stores Supervisor for picking customer orders in preparation for deliveries or packing container shipments
•Assist in wrapping and strapping manufactured product and safely placing into stores per DG code
•Assist in loading Delivery Vehicles and Containers
•Assist in off-loading, verifying quantities and signing off delivery receipts of products

Key Requirements

•1-2 years’ experience in warehousing DG goods and loading containers
•Forklift license is required
•Certified in warehousing of Dangerous Goods
•Certified in Maritime General Awareness and Maritime Function specific
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high degree of accuracy in picking and processing orders
