Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver electrical engineering solutions for mining, industrial, and heavy industry projects from concept design through construction and commissioning.
  • •Lead and contribute to preparation of technical reports, project documentation, and electrical design packages across multiple phases.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to coordinate electrical design and support safe, scheduled, budget-aligned delivery.
  • •Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers to support capability development and consistent engineering standards.
  • •Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting business development and project outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with RPEQ (or working towards) or equivalent professional accreditation.
  • •Ideally 5+ years’ experience in electrical engineering within a consultancy or client organisation.
  • •Demonstrated electrical design experience across construction and commissioning, including LV/HV power distribution and motor control systems.
  • •Experience with industrial control systems, including PLCs and SCADA.
  • •Working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, regulations, and industry practices in mining and heavy industry environments.
