Job Summary

Design and draft subsea system components for oil & gas and process projects, creating 3D parametric models and drawing deliverables from concept through FEED and detailed design. Work in a hybrid team based in Houston, coordinating drawing status and schedules with other design disciplines and project personnel. Use leading CAD and visualization tools (including Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Navisworks) and apply proper CAD data management practices to support delivery within budget.

Key Responsibilities

•Create and modify 3D parametric models of subsea system components such as jumpers, PLETs/PLEMs, manifolds, and more.
•Create and modify drawing deliverables for concept, FEED, and detailed design as required by project(s).
•Plan and execute drafting support for assigned projects.
•Engage with project personnel to deliver drawings on schedule and within defined budget.
•Coordinate with the design team to maintain drawing status awareness and delivery, and participate in meetings/workshops.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•5+ years working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor (2018 or newer).
•10+ years working knowledge of AutoCAD (2013 or newer).
•10+ years structural/mechanical design experience.
•Working knowledge of and use of NAVISWORKS Manage or Freedom.
•Excellent written and verbal communication, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS).
