Job Summary

Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs for a US-remote Go-To-Market team. Coordinate inputs from Sales, Sales Engineering, Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, InfoSec and HR to produce polished, competitive proposals. Design the proposal operating model, manage a proposals team, ensure on-time delivery, and leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation while maintaining Egnyte’s brand and value propositions.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the end-to-end RFx management lifecycle from initial receipt and triage to final submission, establishing timelines and deliverables.
•Design and implement an end-to-end operating model for proposals, including intake, triage, review gates, approvals, and delivery with clear RACI definitions.
•Directly manage and develop the Proposal Operations team, including goal setting, coaching, and growth opportunities.
•Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Engineering, Legal, Finance, InfoSec and HR to gather SME inputs and ensure timely, high-quality responses.
•Leverage technical writing skills to translate complex SaaS architectures into clear, compelling proposal language and maintain a robust content library with AI automation for first drafts and tone refinement.

Salary: USD 135,000 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3-5+ years of experience in proposal coordination, technical writing, bid management, or a similar function within a SaaS or B2B technology company.
•Prior experience directly managing or mentoring at least one team member preferred; demonstrated ability to build and grow a high-performing proposals function.
•Must be based in the US East time zone to effectively span communication between North America and EMEA teams.
•Background working closely with pre-sales or sales engineering teams is highly preferred.
•Technical writing background with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, able to distill highly technical concepts into accessible business language.
