Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake and complete detailed maintenance and diagnostic activities on aircraft systems or components, including servicing, role changes, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements, and functional/system tests.
  • •Analyse and diagnose faults to equipment and assemblies by following diagnostic procedures and approved technical information.
  • •Maintain personal task authorisations for working on aircraft or components and ensure maintenance is completed to schedule.
  • •Ensure Part 145 activities are documented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems (IT/paper) with required reporting and escalation as needed.
  • •Apply Human Factors and Error Management philosophies, comply with Part 145 Exposition and standards, support governance/audits, and implement regulatory/contractual-driven changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Academic qualification minimum of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance, or Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • •Typically 2+ years’ experience including type and classed as fully competent with all required authorisations in place.
  • •Good understanding of the construct of the approved Technical Information set and ability to work unaided to approved data and maintenance instructions.
  • •Demonstrated ability to analyse and diagnose faults to equipment and assemblies and follow diagnostic procedures.
  • •Trade ‘Q’ course pass, with Foundation Leadership and Standard Course Specifications for Human Factors, E&PW Awareness, and ITAR Awareness; IT literate.
