Contribute to an integrated digital news team by helping produce accurate, fast online coverage. Key Responsibilities

•Work with an integrated digital news team alongside journalists to support daily digital news production.
•Write and publish stories in a CMS, including creating attention-grabbing headlines and descriptions.
•Clip and package reporter videos for the website and contribute to fast-breaking, accurate news online.
•Craft station social posts and/or gather UGC from social media for use on the website, on-air, or social accounts.
•Conduct tasks such as making calls and interviewing sources as part of story production.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.45 hourly

Key Requirements

•Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program; recent graduates are not eligible.
•Current class standing of Junior or above.
•Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship now or in the future to retain authorization.
•Must be available to work 20 hours per week during the internship.
•Must be willing to work in San Jose, CA.
