Job Summary

Contract Lead to join the Milan contracts team to provide negotiation, drafting and review support for project contracts across energy, chemicals, petrochemical, oil & gas and life sciences sectors. Based in Corsico (Milan) with hybrid work up to two days remote; you will oversee contract review, risk assessment and negotiation with clients, helping implement contracting policies across Wood's Milan projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide drafting, review and negotiation of client contracts (bespoke and standard forms) in line with Wood policies and project requirements
•Draft, negotiate and interpret contract terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with risk and commercial objectives
•Communicate contract issues clearly to senior management and execution teams, offering practical mitigations
•Identify contractual risks and contribute to risk management processes across projects
•Support procurement, subcontracts and joint venture/partnering agreements as needed

Key Requirements

•Degree in Law
•Experience and proven track record of contract review, drafting and negotiation: 5+ years
•Relevant Client Facing Contracting Experience: 3-5+ years
•Working knowledge of contract terms, contract principles and drafting and roll out of contracting policies
•English fluent; Italian good
